No. Farms are not required to convert their entire operation to F3-compliant feed. Participants may apply F3 feed to a portion of their production, such as a single cage, pond, or net pen.

No. Fish may be fed conventional diets until they reach 25 grams. Once that threshold is reached, a fully marine animal-free diet must be used through harvest to qualify for the challenge.
