Can tilapia be considered for the contest? If not, why not?

No — The Fish Farm Challenge is designed to drive adoption for marine animal ingredient-free feeds in carnivorous finfish, and tilapia are not considered carnivorous. Tilapia is already well established as a species that performs effectively on plant-based feeds (and it won F3’s first challenge).
